The November 6th clinic was held in the Canyon Ruben Amaya. -Animals treated: 62 dogs and four cats.
-Volunteers attending at this clinic: Lety, Luis Mondragon, Karlita and Lisette.

The November 13th clinic was held in the Colonia Libertad (HSTJ's first time in this industrial part of TJ) -Animals treated:48 dogs and nine cats.

The November 27th clinic was held in Segunda Meza Treating 39 Dogs and 5 cats.
-Special cases: The first furry pet we were brought was in very bad shape. He was a young brown and white pup. His owner, Marisol mentioned that he had been vomiting and having diarrhea, so her aunt wa giving him aspirin several times a day. Lety immediately sent them to a vet located close by for any diagnosis and possible treatment. This is just an example of how some people in Mexico weren't accustomed to vet visits, thinking that because of the cost, it would be unrealistic to even bother. But now most that live in or around the areas where we hold Itchy-Scratchy Clinics, begin to ask around for reputable, yet low-cost vet clinics, in order to complement the treatment their pets have already received with us.

Yet another special case was that of "Mamut", a little black pooch with a severe case of mange and several lacerations on his body. Volunteer Lety made sure that he not only received direct treatment for his condition, but also follow-up visits are to be done until he has made a full recovery.

We were also brought a whole family of dogs that had a severe case of mange. The mommy along with her five puppies, as with any other four-legged visitor, recieved the full I.S. treatment for: mange, worms, fleas, ticks, ear-mite, teeth cleaning, nails clipped, doggy vitamins and were also given a full supply of pet food. Stay tuned for updates about his recovery.
